Inventory Management
Estesys Inventory Management will keep track of material quantities in one or multiple warehouse locations, and account for all material usage by date constraints for tax purposes and General Ledger accounting. Quantities received, quantities on hand, materials at different costs, are added or subtracted during job costing procedures using the FIFO method. The first in, first out (FIFO) method of inventory valuation is a cost flow assumption that the first goods purchased are also the first goods sold or installed. Special material purchased at a discounted price for a specific job may be called for and tracked accurately towards that job. Inventory may be grouped by inventory type, product type, and manufacturer.
Master Inventory
Inventory controls allow for different locations to install and sell different products. Our master inventory is the top level available only to the administrator of the system. If more than one branch is part of your business, items may be sold at different costs or price levels at different branches.
Branch Inventory
The branch inventory is your working inventory. It tracks your quantities and cost of any products in stock. For multi branch locations, items may have their own cost, selling price, labor rates, gross margin mark ups and descriptions by location. Items in the branch inventory may be used as a stand-alone item or may be combined in a system of components arranged to create a kit item. Items purchased in bulk may be disbursed by applications in the case of loose fill fiberglass, foam insulation, paint and other barriers, waterproofing and any material purchased in bulk like cubic yards of loam, chips etc…
Bulk Items
Materials purchased in Bulk may be disbursed by specific applications such as blown, sprayed, coats applied, etc..
Component System
Systems may be created for easy job entry allowing for a single entry into an estimated for an item that may have many components such as guttering systems, ceiling tile systems, garage door systems, decking and others. Adjustments may be made to the component when entered in to a job to add wall angle, ice and water shield, and other components that may require a variation in the amount called for based on a specific job.
